I tell myself this every day: “You have not yet resisted to the shedding of your blood, striving against sin.” What is sin to me? Certainly not “sins,” most of which can be hidden from people. Sin, singular, is the old nature I was born with, the one that still wants to use me to attack the clan on the other side of the hill, to physically defend myself and those I claim to be loyal to, to use my body to dominate others and pleasure itself in a variety of ways that have nothing to do with being ‘Christ in the world.’ He that has overcome this world and all of the darkness in it gives me the strength to do anything, to be healed from anything, to go to war against anything or any spirit not interested in the Light. When will I resolve to never break the Heart of Jesus again?
