Am I with him? Oh, he is our life! He is our love! He is our existence! He is our Reality! We are in need of him every moment—and not just in the times that we pray. When we do not know him, we are hungry and thirsty yet we do not know why–and we try to fill those needs with the garbage of the world, but we fail. His life is free for all who will submit to his Lordship. Yet submission is the hardest thing that a person can do, for it says emphatically that I must give up all my ideas of autonomy, of selfishness, of self-righteousness, and follow his first commandment, and the second one which is like it.
